I currently just got accepted into the apprenticeship program for swlcat as a pre-apprentice. Right now I will be working with Capital Electric In El Dorado Ks building a new substation.

Drisco is a drilling company that has done quite a bit of work in Kansas. I was able to learn to safety rig up cages forms and bolts to be picked and moved around with a crane. I was also able to drive a semi and haul around tooling, cages and would also haul water in a tanker at times. I can safely and efficiently run a skid steer and telehandler. I also would finish the concrete and then help strip and grout the piers after they were poured.

Preferred builders specialized in new construction, remodels , and concrete flat work in residential and commercial areas. I was able to help frame up houses and safely operate hand and power tools and safety run equipment such as a skid steer, back hoe, telehandler, and a loader, and also drive a dump truck. I also helped with tearing out old concrete and then building forms and helping pour out and finish the concrete as well. I worked here while I was finishing up with college.
