Majority of time spent in B check hangar working on Boeing 757, Boeing 767, MD-10, MD-11, and the occasional work on Airbus A300. I have had training on all of these aircraft and have completed a run/taxi certification on the Boeing 767.

• Lubricated shafts, bearings, and gears to maintain optimal performance.
• Removed components such as landing gear, engines, and flight control.
• Inspected all received aircraft parts to verify compliance with FAA regulations.
• Diagnosed faults and developed resolution plans.
• Analyzed engineering drawings and schematics to troubleshoot systems and diagnose solutions.
• Inspected airframes to detect wear and other defects.
• Obtained fuel and oil samples to check for contamination.
• Operated power tools, gauges and testing equipment to adjust, repair, and replace faulty components in aircrafts.
• Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diverse aircraft engines, avionics and hydraulics.
• Evaluated individual aircraft components to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Assisted with aircraft and equipment transport and movement.
• Recorded maintenance actions in aircraft logbooks.
• Examined and tested aircraft parts, components and systems to verify airworthiness and functionality.
• Removed and installed aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
• Read and interpreted aircraft documentation to determine repair feasibility and methods.
• Troubleshot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and tested equipment following repairs.

Spent 3 years in Memphis transitioning between the different shops we have. Spent 12 months in heavy B check hangar, 6 months in Hangar 10 which accomplishes most big plane repairs and fixes. 6 months in avionics line learned the ins and outs of schematic and wiring diagrams. 4 months in the sheetmetal shop and 8 months on the Memphis line, doing inbounds and getting planes out on the turn.
