  • I started this position as the Assistant Administrator of the Talihina State Veterans Home back in February 2019. The Talihina State Veterans Home ceased operations in October 2023 to relocate to the Home's new location in Sallisaw, where its new construction had already begun. The Administrator of Record moved to Sallisaw to begin preparing the new facility for opening, while I stayed at the Talihina State Veterans Home to handle its closure, including finalizing closure with federal and state governing agencies, and the close-out of all remaining inventory. In July 2024, I joined the Administrator in Sallisaw to assist with the Sallisaw State Veterans Home, which included overseeing new construction for the forthcoming facility, developing policies and procedures, hiring and training new staff, and purchasing supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
