As a sales representative who specializes in cold calling, my primary responsibility is to identify and contact potential clients who may be interested in our products or services. This requires me to conduct research and make a high volume of outbound calls, often to people who are not expecting to hear from me. I must be comfortable with rejection and have the ability to handle objections effectively.
In this role, my compensation is based on commission, so my success is directly tied to the number of sales I close. Therefore, it is essential that I am able to build rapport with potential clients and understand their needs, as well as effectively communicate the value of our products or services.
