  • Coordinated with a small team of engineers to evaluate and improve software and hardware interfaces.
  • Improved usability and readability of a couple of the main functions that were used such as removing a lot of duplicate code and adding better error checks throughout.
  • Worked on network tests which would send structured data through different network interfaces and devices that would be used with the Air Force
  • Worked with tinyxml2 to parse through XML files which included data that was used in their network tests
  • Helped with creating new unit tests in C++ using catch2 from scratch

  • Attended daily standups and scrum meetings to discuss project roadblocks, status updates, and solutions
  • Helped convert many of the batch scripts to Python scripts to make things more efficient
  • Worked with C++ on the backend to help create and fix different batch jobs that the clients and holders wanted done
  • Worked a bit using Java as well for things that worked with the front end
  • Worked with manipulating lots of the data in the SQL database by making sql scripts which worked with the many different environments and servers
  • Helped convert many of the old Oracle SQR scripts to Perl since Oracle is no longer supporting SQR

  • Made calls to help out people with problems and answered questions in chats that people had about any of the technology we used
