Division 1 College Athlete 

  • Due to the fact I was a full time student athlete, I was very focused and goal oriented. My commitment to baseball took five hours on an average day, forcing me to organize, prioritize, and balance my time and school work effectively. It also instilled in me unrelenting attitude of perseverance and loyalty to my teammates and friends.

Ambassador, Cuba Trip

  • Traveled as an ambassador to Cuba for college baseball. The trip was a goodwill mission because it was one of the first organized trips to go to Cuba after the U.S. lifted the embargo. While there, we interacted with foreign leaders and athletes to strengthen ties between Cuba and the United States.
