I am a new firefighter; however, I have many years of experience in emergency medical services. Most of my knowledge is derived from years in the Army and from starting the groundwork of how to work in those high-stress situations. I challenged myself further by working at Dayton Children's, where pediatrics was my weakest area of medical knowledge. After finding confidence in this area of work, I wanted to further challenge myself by working as a firefighter. In all aspects of my past jobs, the one thing that still stands as constant is that I wish to help others. I push myself physically and mentally every day so that I can provide the best service that I can. I am dedicated to EMS and fire, and I wish to help protect others and my community.
