Gather information:

  • Take pictures of any missing shingles, cracks or holes in roof, streaking, granulation loss etc.
  • Climb into attic and take the temperature as well as pictures to expose any flaws in their ventilation system and emphasize how these problems can directly affect the overall roofs health as well as their energy bill.
  • Communicate the damage/issues you found to help build urgency. Explain the detrimental effects these issues can have if not taken care of promptly and properly.

Slideshow Presentation/Demonstration:

  • Give a one hour slideshow demonstration about the history of the company, it's growth, reviews and why so many people have chose Erie Construction for their new roof.
  • Justify why a roof is a good investment.
  • Show the different types of styles and colors of roofs that Erie has to offer. Narrow down what kind of style the customer would want to go with.

  • Perform several demonstrations of the company's materials used compared to the industry standard materials.
  • Piece together the metal roof to help demonstrate how a roof with metal shingles works compared to a regular asphalt roof.
  • Narrow down what kind of color and style roof the customer will want to use.

Close the deal:

  • Figure out what the cost of the roof will be.
  • Present numbers for both the metal and asphalt shingles.
  • Narrow down what roof would best suit them based on their budget.
