• Construction Safety & Forensic Engineering- Practical aspects of identifying construction and structural problems, construction accidents, mechanisms of failures and accidents, methods of avoidance and forensic engineering.
• Project Management in Civil Engineering- Managed the construction of a 10 story office building which included scheduling, estimating, labor, equipment, materials, and vendors.
• Design & Operation of Road Traffic Facilities- Focused on the operational design of streets, intersections, parking and terminal facilities, and traffic control devices. Traffic laws and ordinances were included in this course as they effect design and operations. Capacity analysis of both rural and urban highways and its impact on design and operation were studied
• Senior Capstone- Part of team that designed a 33 story office building over the course of two semesters. The design of this structure was broken down into two-way slab design, column layout and sizing, steel pratt truss bridge design connecting the two largest sections of the structure, and lateral reinforcing.
