I worked as a counselor as a summer camp last summer and will be doing it again. I worked with kids of all ages from 3-10. I played Basketball with them as well as supervised them when they would play.
I have 3 dogs at home so I was used to helping take care of dogs and pet sitting, I pet sit now and I find it interesting to be able to take care of the different dogs
I have a little sister who is 12 years younger than me so I would babysit her to understand what it would take to babysit a young child. It was tough at first but quickly I was bale to learn and started to babysit other kids who I knew and it was a thing I enjoyed.
I would clean around My house and sometimes other peoples houses to learn how to pick up after myself and others also.
I would do yard work for neighbors as well as clean cars and potentially use a bleaching solution to remove stains from decks.
I coached Basketball for a year and a half and I would draft a team of players who would range from being in 5th and 6th grade and would coach them to be better players, have good sportsmanship,as well as have a great time. I had a great time working as a coach and would recommend the job to any former sports player or fan.
I learned a lot about working which was helpful because It helped me understand what it takes to get a real job which happened a summer later while working at a summer camp.
I only did this for a month but I would keep track of the score and player stats for teams when they would play basketball games at the local gym.
I have learned a lot throughout the process of doing different work and since they are all different it has taught me to be more confident and have better idea on what to do when helping other people.
