• Co-led a team of undergraduate researchers attempting to isolate a peptide binding agent to a protein, sFOLR1, over expressed in women who have ovarian cancer at all stages
• The peptide could be used in a blood screening to detect cancer at stages I and II; women are generally detected at stages III and IV increasing mortality rates
• Curriculum Development - 3D printed collimated tube that was used in a small-scale drinking water disinfection experiment
• Students used bacterial viruses (phage) to determine if ultraviolet (UV) light could meet EPA disinfection standards.

Responsible for laser printing components, packaging them, and maintaining inventory of shipped items
