Training German Shepherds for companions of our Arm Forces.

I somehow fell into this by my own German Shepherd I received as a rescue dog. After training my own dog, I decided that these Vets coming home from Afghanistan could use a friend. I just researched what it took to do this. I gathered my information and just blindly went into this task. It is a giving feeling to hand a dog that I trained to someone who is going to benefit from this. It is so rewarding. I love doing it. It is time consuming so it is important to not get attached. I don't know how long I will continue doing this now that I have become a new grandmother. I will put it in the Lords hands and see what happens.
