My career is one made up of solving unforeseen problems. When an obstacle presents itself, it often falls upon me to find the best solution that balances the needs of the customer, the requirements by code, and the reality of the situation on the ground.
This also calls upon the ability to communicate effectively, between coworkers to agree upon the solution and implement it, with upper management to confirm its viability, and with the customer so they understand what needs to be done and how long it will take.
This also brings me to the most important part of solving an issue, which is execution of the solution. My career has taught me time management, in ensuring the estimated time it takes to implement a solution fits within a reasonable digression from the original plan, and getting elbow deep yourself to ensure its done correctly and efficiently.
