I am a carpenter of 5 years who envisions a better life for myself and my ever-growing family. I have a hard-working, perfection-driven personality that will give 110% to the work I do. I am looking for a job to grow into and build my experience as a carpenter and tradesman in general. I plan to become a construction manager after finishing my schooling at Weber State University(Graduation 2030 - part-time schooling). What I can offer you is someone who is ready to learn, always up for a challenge, and will be aiming to do tasks the right way. I am someone who you can count on to get the job finished, doing whatever it takes. I am eager to seek out opportunities in leadership roles to further my career.

  • This project was remodeling the Cache Valley Bank branch in Smithfield UT. My job on this build was to design, build/install, and finish the windows that were being remodeled on this bank. I worked primarily during the night as they required us to keep the bank open and operational during the renovation. A large part of this renovation was on making designs that would keep the building’s historical significance. Other projects I did on this project can be found in the photo album link below. I am currently furloughed on this job until the next one is ready for demolition.

  • I currently work as a carpenter directly with a superintendent to accomplish specialized tasks. One of the larger tasks that we do is laying out the interior walls in the new Nibley Middle School. I work off of Procore to read and transfer drawings, and to schedule and report our day to the head superintendent for the job. Other tasks we have done include remodeling a large high-end home to fit an elevator, installed specialized tanks for water flow at a fish hatchery, and made site preparations to a historic church building.

  • Within my time at Jacobsen, I have worked on primarily the Smithfield Utah Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During this build, I worked on general conditions requiring creativity for specialized projects on site. I also primarily worked on backing, parapet, temporary walls, and other general conditions that were required on-site. I was able to work on punch list items as well.
  • I was moved to Cytiva’s Expansion project on the south end of Logan to complete punch list items on site as well as oversee final cleanings. After about a month, I moved to USU housing and business buildings where I helped build a parking garage via concrete shoring and other concrete building techniques.
