I recently created my own WordPress blog site called Stream and Timber.

www.streamandtimber.com With this site, I am fortunate enough to write about my passion for outdoor adventures. Creating and operating this website has included the following tasks.

• Researched and wrote engaging content for the blog.
• Followed trends in industries and target genres to capitalize on emerging trends.
• Edited posts for clarity and grammar before publishing.
• Built relationships with other bloggers to increase the visibility of the blog.
• Researched products and outdoor topics before writing blog posts about them.
• Generated ideas for new blog topics, including researching relevant keywords.
• Implemented SEO best practices across all pages of the website.
• Promoted the blog on social media platforms, such as Twitter and Instagram.
• Conducted background research to add depth to scenes, history and characters.
• Monitored analytics to measure website performance and track growth trends.

My career with Horner has been multi-faceted, to say the least. My role with Horner has evolved from repair technician to vibration analyst, to field service manager now part-time technical writing. I have moved to part-time as I pursue other interests. A few bullet points below will represent the evolution of my duties during this time.

• Repaired mechanical and electrical equipment
• Conducted advanced testing on industrial equipment
• Achieved a Category 3 vibration analysis certification through the Vibration Institute.
• Performed advanced vibration testing on mechanical equipment
• Wrote detailed reports explaining the effect of vibration on the mechanical integrity of equipment.
• Managed the field service repair division. This role involved quoting, billing, workflow management, office management, scheduling, and much more.
• Managed the technical writing of detailed reports for customers concerning mechanical and electrical repairs and testing.
• Currently, assist the company with creating digital forms and assisting with technical writing.
