I have been working in the parts department at Mini of Fort Myers for the past 5 years. It is my responsibility to come in every morning to check in our parts orders. I make sure all of our special order parts for customers and internal vehicles arrive on time for scheduled appointments as well as making sure none of our parts are damaged upon arrival. Every morning I make sure to go through our appointments to see who is coming in and for what reason to make sure our operations stay steady moving with no issue.
I am responsible for our entire inventory. I count inventory on a daily basis to keep our Parts to Pad accurate on a monthly basis. I'm dealing with technicians on the back end as well as greeting/helping customers at the retail counter at the same time. I also handle all of our wholesale customer's orders such as local repair shops, body shops, etc from Naples to Port Charlotte.
Determining warranty coverage for parts plays a big role in my job as well. I am constantly helping our Service Advisors wether it be meeting customers on the drive with them to determine what is needed to repair damage to their vehicles or helping putting together quotes for customers and extended warranty companies. Our Parts Department is also only a two person department so I do work from open to close and work mainly 6 days a weeks with some weekends off. I have many responsibilities with this position, I take my job very seriously and I am proud of my work.
Pool days, beach days and just being out in nature in general is really important to us!
