I'm Colt Jorgenson. Born and raised in Elko, NV. I'm an avid huntsman and outdoorsman. Love spending my time in the hills or at the golf course. I moved to Salt Lake City in search of better opportunities instead of the mines we have back home in Elko
As I was working at Ferguson. I worked at a branch in Elko, NV and SLC, UT. As a receiver I was receiving UPS/FedEx on the daily as well as receiving everything coming in from semi-trucks. As this was my daily task, I was also able to learn how to be organized and being able to know what products were and where they were at when the salesman came out to the pit and would ask.
While working for Layne I was able to learn all things on a drill rig
and how everything worked, how to take the right precautions on
how to be safe and come home safe.
I worked with a few people at a time on the job site so I had to be able
to communicate with everyone the right way.
Once I figured out how everything worked I was able to teach new
hires how we did things and teach them the ways on how to correctly
get the right sample and drill with safety.
While working here I was installing multiple furnaces in a home, running flex through houses, installing mini-split units etc. Finding/getting the materials needed for the job and going to supply house to get them.
While working for Callaway as a Foreman, I was able to run a crew of three people. I would lay everyone out on the job site and watch over them as I would work. I was granted a work truck so I had all the materials that everyone needed to complete the jobs.
