I think that my objective is to always keep learning, developing, and showing up. Your Quality Control position sounds like a great opportunity for growth. I do have very primitive experience with precision measurement tools, mainly common calipers in a manufacturing and hobby environment. I would love to learn more about your operation and practices! Thank you for the consideration!
I am a farm equipment operator, where I grind animal feed with a tractor and a grinder as a main duty. I grind several different rations for the phases of life of the animals.
Moving the animals to and from several structures with a tractor and hydraulic carry-all!
I work with a grain leg system, loading and unloading grain and freight.
I also help with swine operations and production!
Other duties are biosecurity, light maintenance, pest/weed control, and glorified gofer!
My responsibility was to maintain seed stock supply chains and warehouse organization! Light maintenance on buildings and grain legs.
Help bring in fresh, harvested soybeans for storage and cleaning!
Cleaning, bagging seeds, and whatever else! General labor!
I was the forklift operator, keeping several warehouses organized, raw production materials at machines at all times, and freight sorted and loaded into trucks daily!
I was also a machine operator, maintaining quality control on strict tolerances for customer products! Some small maintenance, cross-trained on everything!
I was a state-certified butcher.
Cross-trained on almost all lines!
If lines were full or down for maintenance/cleaning. I would go and help with shipping and receiving. Usually moving freight on a forklift.
I was a machine operator for the third shift.
Also, a die-cast operator and outside maintenance for the die-cast machines servicing the aluminum furnaces!
Cross-trained on every machine and line.
I helped the maintenance and quality control departments whenever possible.
Forklift certified, and overhead crane certified!
Now, this was a wild time to be alive!
I traveled endlessly, riding several open rodeos, climbing mountains, and surfing big waves in multiple bodies of water.
I did a little bit of everything!
Roofing, framing, concrete, remodels, pole barns, and a whole lot of labor for other contractors! Hahaha
