I am a hard working student and employee, with a wide range of skills and the ability to learn new things and adapt to new environments. I currently play for my high school golf team in the spring and a recreational basketball team in the winter, and in the past I have also played on my schools football and baseball teams at the varsity level. During the school year I am mainly able to work weekends and weekday afternoons with planning. During the summer I am able to work week days as well as weekends if needed.
In my role at Ohana kitchen I have a few responsibilities throughout my work day. I take orders at the window, assist with prepping and plating food, wash dishes, engage with customers, and fill in anywhere else that I may be needed.
Through my position on the baseball team at SAHS in my freshman and sophomore years, I was able to umpire youth baseball games for JBO. Through this opportunity I was able to exercise my problem solving skills during complications between teams or coaches, my leadership skills when directing an umpire crew of my peers, and gain experience in working with youth players and creating a welcoming environment.
In my role at this family owned moving company, I would volunteer to help my grandpa and uncles with their daily duties of loading/unloading the trucks, as well as learn about work ethic and how to perform a wide variety of tasks in a workplace setting during our trips.
