As the Senior Tac at the Fort Carson Pre-Ranger School Program I am overall in charge of 10 other Staff Sergeants who help coach and mentor Soldiers in order to make them successful at the U.S Army Ranger School. The Senior Tac role has many other different areas of responsibilities, I am the Senior Non Commissioned Officer in our program. For each class that we run I also coordinate with 3 other Army Bases in order to make their Soldiers successful as well. Every class comes with additional duties that I am in charge of for example; reserving all of our land and ammunition request, rations, coordination with multiple civilians in order to get soldiers a seat at Ranger School, and making sure our Instructors are proficient on the information they are providing to our students daily.
Serving as the Platoon Sergeant for a Scout Platoon in the 4th Infantry Division overall I was responsible for the morale, welfare, and well being of 36 Soldiers. As the Platoon Sergeant I was also in charge of mentoring 8 Non Commissioned Officers and one Commissioned Officer.
Served as a Scout Platoon Squad Leader for over 24 months and was in charge of the morale, welfare, and well being of 12 Soldiers at any given time. As the Squad Leader in my Platoon I was charged with being the Senior Scout (the most challenging Squad Leader position) for the duration of our deployment in the Middle East. During my time as a Squad Leader I received the number one rating on our evaluation report generated by a Commissioned Officer.
Served As a Dismount Team Leader for 3 years responsible for the morale, welfare, and well being of 8 Soldiers at any given time. As a Team Leader I was the Soldiers overall care giver and I would provide them all the expertise and knowledge they would need to be successful on and off of the battlefield.
My first Duty stationed at Fort Hood, TX I was assigned as the .50Cal Machine Gunner for our truck, responsibilities include but are not limited to; ensuring all communications equipments is properly serviced and mission ready, ensuring our vehicle is always 100% with services and ready to deploy within minutes notice, supervising the crews weapon systems and consistently maintaining them to ensure proper functionality.
