Summary

I have over ten years of background working with Special Education students and students with multiple disabilities. I began as a substitute teacher and immediately fell in love with Special Education and requested to work with Special needs students. I have a dual bachelors in General Education and Special Education. When an opportunity came to work with multiple disability students, I was elated! I am currently working in an infant nursery caring for children of young parent(s)while they obtain their high school diploma. Along with this, I help provide guidance to the young parent(s). There are two co-teachers under my supervision. I am working on passing the Praxis Exam to become licensed as a Special Education teacher. Additionally, I have also worked as a Behavior technician for children with Autism/ADHD and am a team player who is eagerly seeking to maintain full-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
