Summary

I have worked in the school system for almost 25 years. I started as a nursing assistant for a child with spinal bifida. I later moved on to position that includes kindergarten and first grade assistant, EC assistant as well as reading and math interventions. I was a foster parent for 13 years. During that time we adopted 5 therapeutic boys, 2 of them being special needs. During my time as a foster parent I took several training on behavioral issues as well as mental health. I feel as if I am highly qualified for this position due to my background training and my desire to help others.
