Projects

Engineering Applications Lab

  • Experimentally analyzed a ping pong ball vacuum launcher and then theoretically modeled the launcher using MATLAB. Analyzed a heat exchanger through experimentation and calculation, then theoretically modeled the heat exchanger using MATLAB. Calibrated experimental devices to then compare experimental results with theoretical results.

Engineering Design Tools Robo-Monkey

  • Worked to build a robot that would climb a door frame as the final project. Used Onshape CAD software to design the product, which we made using given objects and two given motors. Calculated the gear ratio necessary to get the robot to climb without stalling. 3D printed parts to finalize a design.

Attachable Wheelchair Lacrosse Shooting Device

  • Currently working on a team within Multidisciplinary Senior Design. Working for Kids Miracle Making Club, to design and a build an attachable shooting device on wheelchairs for handicapped children. Working through project management processes, designing of the product, and building within a budget given by the organization.
