As a laborer my tasks included:

• Fire watching, which consisted of ensuring permit was acquired and accurately filled out with the correct information before hot work took place. As a fire watch I was also in charge of making sure all guidelines where met for hot work to commence such as clearing debris and clearing the area of any flammable material.
• Hole watching, many of the responsibilities of a fire watch also apply to a hole watch however there are some key differences such as using a gas meter to ensure environment is safe for entry and keeping a proper headcounts of those who enter and leave.

• Maintained clean, safe working environment by removing debris from job site prior to shift completion.
• Collaborated with team members to complete assigned tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Met company and OSHA safety guidelines for work site operations to minimize worker risk.

As an electrical co-op my tasked included:

• Installed new electrical components, fixtures and motors.
• Listened to directives of senior electrical professionals to complete efficient tasks.
• Measured and prepared supplies for electrical tasks.
• Completed semi-skilled and skilled work under supervision of fully qualified professionals.
• Reviewed blueprints and electrical schematics to perform tasks to specifications.
• Maintained organization, cleanliness and safety in work areas.
• Adhered to company standards and OSHA regulations for work site safety.
• Inspected existing wiring to identify short circuits.
• Worked in team-based environment to accomplish projects.
• Assisted with electrical installation tasks, added new wiring and adjusted breaker boxes.
• Operated hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete various aspects of jobs.

• Maintain track with concrete and track bond work filling any holes or cracks.
• Fix any plumbing, electrical or mechanical issues in facility vehicles or buildings.

• Cleared tables to maintain high turnover rate and minimize wait times.
• Maintained table setting by removing courses as completed and replenishing utensils.
• Supported wait staff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners and bus stations.
• Transported filled bus tubs to kitchen dishwashing area.
• Restocked condiments and drink station supplies to maintain customer satisfaction.

• Observed tables to tend to guest needs and identify customer service opportunities.
