  • EMT on the critical care transport team, my duties involve transporting highly sick patients or traumas to the appropriate facility and in charge of vehicle operations. When not on a call we help around the ER in high acuity areas especially in critical care where all the level 1 and 2 patients come and it moves fast with new patients. Starting IVs, performing EKGs, blood draws, cleaning, blood cultures and fast and thorough assessments of critically ill patients.

  • Fire fighter entry level 1. A Firefighter is responsible for rapidly, efficiently and safely performing various duties under emergency conditions frequently involving considerable hazard. The work includes routine duties in the maintenance of firefighting vehicles, equipment and fire service facilities. Inspecting building, fire safety and awareness. These are the list of knowledge and skills in the Fire 1 certification. Communications, building construction, fire dynamics, fire fighter PPE, fire extinguishers, ropes and knots, ground ladders, search and rescue, ventilation, fire hose, hose operations and streams, fire suppression, overhaul, basic first aid, hazardous materials, analyzing the materials, actions taken for the materials, PPE product control and decontamination, and then national incident management system.
