• Fire fighter level 2. A person certified at the Fire Fighter II level will have demonstrated greater competency in the necessary knowledge and skills to function safely and effectively as a member of a firefighting team under general supervision. Knowledge and skills learned in Fire 2. Building materials, structural collapse, and effects of fire suppression, technical rescue support and vehicle extrication, foam fire fighting, liquid fires and gas fires, incident gene operations and commanding a scene, fire origin and cause, maintained and testing responsibilities, community risk reduction, and more hours of hazmat.
