I started at Chick-fil-A in 2019 as a team member. At that level I worked whatever position is part of me for operation success. This includes taking orders on the register to bagging up to 120+ orders per hour. I then progressed into a training role, where outlined the importance of consistency and procdures to new employees, as well as telling them about and demonstrating the exceptional service Chick-fil-A is known for. In 2020, I was promoted to a leadership position, where I over-saw day to day operations including but not limited to fixing bottlenecks, giving feedback on performance, and monitoring team success during peak business hours.
For this position I travel to newly opened and Corporate Owned restaurants in the United States and Canada. As of now I have completed six of these assignments where I work with marketing teams to spread brand awareness in new areas and assist in ordering inventory for the location. However, my primary responsibility is to train new Chick-fil-A team members on operational standards and coach them to perform at the high expectations Chick-fil-A demands, such as a high sense of urgency, and providing a hospitable experience to every guest.
As a supervisor on the food and beverage time, I am responsible for my server team and ensuring they provide a great experience to the guests dining at our conference center. We serve everything from small receptions for 15 to big banquet dinner for 550. I started as a server and then was promoted after 8 months because of my previous leadership experience.
