  • Trace and expedite any dwelling bridge cargo with truckers/terminals/storage yard/depots
  • Work out any discrepancy with respective terminals/storage yards/Depots/rails
  • Coordinate with internal customers, vendors, and accounts payable on invoice discrepancies and other issues regarding payment of vendor
  • Assist in managing all necessary service requirements for final deliveries to and from the rails
  • Request reservations and advise truckers of all rail allocations
  • Adding accessorial charges into companies’ system and Blume (including overweight cargo, transload, dry runs, hazards, reefers, and any additional stops and or cost etc.) Act as liaison between internal /external customers and vendors regarding issues directly related to cargo movement this includes dispatch, terminal release issues, dwelling cargo, eta to rails, storage containers, rail release issues and delivery discrepancy
  • Handling UTL Transmodal containers with the terminal and trucker
  • Responsible for collecting PODs as requested by customers, terminals, and/or managements
  • Assist with resolution on vendor issues relating to dispatching, dwelling, accessorial, and Blume discrepancy
  • Expediting dwelling all Transmodal/bridge cargo Print & Fax Hazardous manifest to truckers Manage Transmodal/bridge import email box Transmit rail order billing to appropriate railroads; review applicable reports to ensure all billing was transmitted as provided Process container movement updates for service requirements

  • Transmit vessel once closed and ready
  • Transmit rail order billing to appropriate railroads; review applicable reports to ensure all billing was transmitted as provided by management
  • Resolve any rail billing/ EDI issues with the rail and create manual rail billing and process correction if needed (ADHOC)
  • Review all CBP related reports to identify transpacific eastbound any bills of lading and containers that need to be held for customs related holds
  • Notify customer of holds
  • Prior to vessel arrival, update terminal system container routing in terminal systems
  • Ensure Dangerous and Hazardous information for accuracy and completeness and IMDG compliance to (fax/email/transmit) manifest to USCG
  • Contact origin as necessary for discrepancies
  • Field calls, emails, from clients, truckers, customers, and vendors for all terminals and/or depot
  • Send updates to terminals and depots when needed in LAX/LGB/Port Hueneme
  • Check Bills of Ladings (BL’s) for piece count discrepancies
  • Contact broker per filed code to determine who issued the entry filed with Customs
  • Check generated reports for multiple BL’s and ensure all are clear if not contact broker/Customer prior to initiating G.O

  • Check for customs entries such as PTT, I.T., T & E or I.E., which will be considered as US Customs Cleared and will not be subject to the G.O
