Work History

Infantryman

Army Active Duty
Clarksville, TN
01.2021 - Current

Served as a Senior Scout Observer, Team Leader, and RTO at 2-327 No Slack Battalion in the Scout Platoon at the 101st Airborne Division. I deployed to Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany for development, training, and teaching allied foreign militaries. As a senior scout observer (SSO) I had to specialize in map reading, advanced route planning, and frontal security. As a Team Leader, I was responsible for maintaining accountability of men, weapons, equipment, and ensuring that my team maintained unit standards in all areas and were knowledgeable of their tasks and the operation. As an RTO I specialized in communication through sending messages and data across the frequency spectrum, utilizing High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radios. As a scout platoon, our main mission set was to conduct zone, area, and route reconnaissance. We set up screens, conduct surveillance, conduct linkup and liaison, guide maneuver forces, detect, survey, and monitor chemicals and radiation. I have accomplished specialized schools and certifications, which include Army Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault school. I have earned the Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and National Defense Service Medal.
