As an EMT-IV working in Interfacility Transport (IFT), I provide critical support during the transfer of patients between medical facilities. In addition to standard EMT duties like monitoring vital signs and ensuring patient safety, I’m trained and certified to start and manage IV lines. This allows me to maintain ongoing IV fluid therapy, administer select medications as permitted by protocol, and respond to patient needs during transport. My role bridges the gap between basic and advanced life support, ensuring continuity of care for patients who may be stable but still require medical oversight en route.

As an EMT with IV certification (EMT-IV), I’m trained not only in basic life support and emergency response, but also in initiating and managing intravenous therapy in the prehospital setting. This includes starting IV lines, administering fluids, and—depending on local protocols—delivering certain medications. My expanded skill set allows me to provide a higher level of care in the field, particularly for trauma, dehydration, or patients in shock, which can be critical during transport or while awaiting advanced medical support. This capability is especially valuable in rural or high-demand areas where rapid intervention can make a significant difference.

The Kennel Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the kennel facility, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all animals in care. This role includes supervising kennel staff, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, managing animal feeding and care schedules, and ensuring compliance with organizational and legal regulations.

The Engine Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on internal combustion engines and related mechanical components in vehicles or equipment. This includes both gasoline and diesel engines across various applications such as automotive, marine, industrial, and power generation equipment. The technician ensures all work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
