• Houston Food Bank - packaged rice and beans to be transported and distributed to those in need around the Houston metropolitan area
• Kids Meals - made a variety of lunches for kids in need
• Construct and paint various playhouses for children in need

9-12  Volunteer, Key Club       29 Hours

• Korean Festival at Discovery Green - set up the festival, manage both entertainment and food booths; tear down and clean up
• Spring festival at Kirk Elementary School- manage and help work game stations and serve food at the Kirk Elementary School festival
• Lunar New Year Festival - Help set up the festival, manage games and entertainment booths, and tear down/clean up
• Cypress Ridge Homecoming - put up decorations, set up equipment, and organize the school cafeteria for the homecoming dance

• Participated in approximately fourteen district games per season for Division 6A CFISD; moved up to varsity for playoffs (9), won the Lamar CISD Gold Consolation Bracket during the preseason (10)
• Play and start in the center position all four years; practiced 5-6 days a week to include team-oriented play, skills work, agility training, weightlifting, and conditioning drills; analyze film of myself and the opposing team to develop skills and strategy to improve performance and identify strengths and weaknesses
• Through grit, hard work, and being a team player, I proved my worth and earned the position of captain and the opportunity to play at a higher level; I gained resilience through failure and adapted to what was expected of me; I developed a strong bond and brotherhood with teammates through shared experiences; acquired a positive male role model/mentor within my coach as he prepared me to be a respectable young man and not just a basketball player

• Advanced from freshman team to varsity sophomore year; attended approximately seven meets per season for Division 6A CFISD; placed second in the district (9) and qualified for districts (9-11)
• Specialize in high jump all four years; practice after school four days weekly which includes conditioning, skill/technique work, and jump training; compete in weekly meets
• Became more responsible for my own success as I transitioned from a team sport to a solo sport; increased my work ethic, discipline, and perseverance; through commitment and hard work my training and physical fitness increased my athleticism in basketball

• Meet once a week to inform members of upcoming project opportunities; drafted letters at home within a two-week time frame to be delivered to partner organizations and distributed to staff and first responders
