My Experience as a Division 1 college baseball player has helped me tremendously throughout my work experience. It has allowed me to learn how to collaborate with people and how to learn through adversity. Last season, my team and I were on track for one of the worst seasons in Little Rock Baseball history, but we were able to come together as a team and persevere in the biggest and most unexpected way. My team and I made the conference tournament by 1 game and proceeded to go 5-0, taking us to the Baton Rouge regional, facing off against a top 5 team in the country, LSU. Our momentum would not stop there as we made our way to a game 7 regional final against the Tigers, where we would end up losing. I ended up having a great year, finishing on the second team all-conference and all-conference tournament team. I have overcome so many challenges in the past year that will help me overcome any challenges that I have in the workplace environment.
