- After lessons, I would supervise some kids, who were experienced enough, to untack and groom their horse
- I made sure the stalls and barn were mucked and swept
- I helped feed and water horses
- I helped switch horses to and from the turnout
- I also would lead kids on trail rides while a supervisor walked next to me
