Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering while serving in the Army has broadened my perspective beyond that of the typical engineering student. Through my academic studies, I’ve gained a strong foundation in the science and mathematics behind how machines operate. My military experience has complemented this by providing hands-on knowledge of how these principles are applied in real-world situations. Beyond technical expertise, both environments have helped me develop essential soft skills such as strategic planning, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn—qualities that have prepared me to excel in both civilian and military settings.
