Additional responsibilities include but not limited to; assisting out side agency's, vehicle accidents, commercial, residential, grass fire's. Inspected apparatus, equipment, grounds and stations for proper order and condition on daily basis. Checked all fire and life safety systems and equipment for proper placement at properties, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems and smoke detectors. Performed variety of fire suppression activities at fire scenes, including laying and connecting hose, holding nozzles and directing water streams, raising and climbing ladders and using pike poles, smoke ejectors, and forcible entry tools. Conducted thorough tests and inspections of gear, equipment and tools to stay ready for every type of fire. Made daily inspections of facilities and equipment.
