-Transporting cargo to and from specified locations as instructed by company dispatchers.

-Strategically planning travel routes to ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.

-Reviewing dispatchers' instructions before deliveries to prevent any errors or miscommunications.

-Performing inspections of the designated truck before and after each delivery to ensure that it is mechanically sound.

-Promptly informing management of any mechanical issues that render the designated truck unroad worthy.

-Submitting cargo documents to customers and obtaining customer signatures to confirm receipt of the correct cargo.

-Notifying dispatch of any damaged cargo.

-Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.

-Load and unload cargo.

-Record cargo deliveries.

-Refuel and clean vehicle.

-Report road incidents to the dispatcher.

-Follow traffic laws.

-Inspect trucks and record issues.

-Follow accident procedures.

-Keep an activities log and log hours.

-Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.

-Plan routes using GPS system.

-Get goods to the client on time.

-Maintain a positive attitude with customers.

-Keep commercial driver license up to date.

-Executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for the restaurant as defined by the current IHOP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the restaurant's current operations plan.

-Developing and maintaining professional functional working relationship with restaurant hourly employees and the franchisee organization.

-Managing the restaurant floor, focusing on regular contact with guests.

-Handling guest complaints in a professional and timely manner, making sure that the frequency of complaints is within acceptable limits.

-Ensuring that employee recruitment and training, operations, food preparation, food safety and sanitation, and security practices are in compliance with SOP in these areas.

-Carrying our supervisory duties such as recruitment and hiring, training, directing workflow, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems.

-Completing all required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.

-Maintaining personnel files with appropriate employment and legal documents.

-Available to work days, nights and weekends.

-Open and close the restaurant.

-Hire, train and mentor new staff members.

-Schedule shifts and assign table sections to waitstaff.

-Resolve customer questions and complaints professionally.

-Conduct payroll activities accurately and on time.

-Ensure the restaurant follows health and safety regulations.

-Place orders for ingredients, utensils and equipment as stock is depleted or damaged.

-Source better deals on resources and equipment as needed.

-Record all income and expenses, make sure cash registers are balanced at the end of every shift.
