- Primary response and assistance for IT support requests/technical issues for all OP employees, consultants and interns either in-person or via email, phone or Microsoft Teams. (Locally to both Albany & all OP satellite offices across NY state) with proactive monitoring of issues reported and timely response/communication with effected users. This includes troubleshooting of software issues and of PC/IT-related equipment and electronics, alleviating issues impacting work productivity for all OP employees.
- PC, Laptop & IT-related equipment setup/configuration for both Albany located employees as well as all OP regional office users when required.
- Workstation setups for new employees in addition to moves, adjustments and equipment replacements when needed.
- Work order completion for new employee onboarding, current employee offboarding, equipment repair for printers, copiers, etc. at OP offices and timely shipping of new/repaired equipment to satellite office users when needed.
- Creation & maintenance of shared training & reference/help guide documentation for required IT Specialist tasks. Updating and amending documentation as changes to procedures and systems occur.
- Recurring participation in NYSED ITS department meetings to offer both insight and experience to Office of Professions involved issues, hardware/software updates and ITS-related events.
Assumed the role of Information Technology Specialist duties including:
