For the last 10 years, I've dedicated my life to "Being the Difference", in my community. I voluntarily coach basketball at local recreational parks, mentoring the youth, as a positive role model. I also coach for an AAU Organization by the name of Team Elite Carolina (7th grade girls). For the past several years, I've been a basketball trainer and coach to more than 300 plus kids (from grade school, to middle school, to high school, to college) within the Columbia area and the state of South Carolina. I just recently started my own youth co-ed basketball fall league that has successfully been running for almost 3 years now, which has helped prepare and develop kids before trying-out and possibly making their respective school teams. I am the sole owner of my own business, clothing-line and brand called A.L.O.T.O., which stands for A League of Their Own.
I was named Senior Class President at Columbia High School. As an outstanding student, with a GPA of 3.2, I was selected to be a member of The Boys State as well. I was awarded All-Area, All-Conference, and All-Region for basketball and baseball at Columbia High both junior and Senior years. Through stellar play, hard-work, and leadership, I was Nominated as a McDonald's All-American as a senior.
