Additional Information

As part of my senior design project during my Capstone at Clemson, I served as the Stormwater manager. I was in charge of designing the roof drainage system and water drainage infrastructure that was captured an 8-acre site in Clemson, SC. All procedures and methods were in correspondence of the ordnance set forth by Pickens County. Key features of this project were using the IDEAL computer model to compute runoff hydrographs for pre and post development of the site, designing inlets and piping that produced no surcharge in the system, and designing a dry detention pond with the capabilities of withstanding a 100-year rainfall event while maintaining 1-foot of freeboard.
