  • I currently am a finish operator that also fills the role of lead operator when needed. I have trained for the last 4 months on the lead operator role and oversee the complete job site when needed. In this position we have to ensure that work is scheduled and safely completed by appropriate deadlines. I have been tasked with working with temp labor agencies on hiring and managing temporary labor employees. Daily tasks and duties in my current role are, complete daily equipment reports, maintain grades, and erosion on slopes, excavation of ponds, load trucks, build roads, finish grades, and maintain all grades on pads and slopes due to erosion of wind and rain. The skills i have trained and am familiar with are as follows:
  • Dozer-Ability to operate and maintain grades on a bulldozer. Maintain haul roads, stock pile material, maintain a 4/1 down to a 2/1 slope. Accurately read a lot level to check grades manually.
  • Excavator- Excavate pits with a track hoe, maintain incoming ground to reduce erosion and increase production,strip and bury organic materials,cut 4/1 down to 2/1 grades,load off road haul trucks, stock pile material.
  • Front Loader- haul and spread materials, load and unload flatbed trucks with materials and storm drain structures.
  • Articulating Trucks- Haul and dump materials to designated areas.
  • Water truck- Dispense water to maintain compaction and also to keep dust down in extremely dry conditions to keep visibility as high as possible, maintaining safe working conditions.
  • Roller- Compact sub-grades and/or house pads to required densities, maintain haul roads.
  • GPS- Ability to cut roads,slopes,wells,and house pads to exact elevation. Have experience with 4/1, 3/1, and 2/1 slopes.

  • Built custom in ground pools to customer specifications for eight years. During my employment with this company, I learned and developed skills in shooting elevations by transit level, steel re bar reinforcement, concrete work (Forming and Grading),custom plumbing, and tile work.   • Equipment- While working for Custom pool and landscape I was introduced to several pieces of machinery that included but not limited to skid steers, excavators, and dump trailers. I was trained and ran all equipment successfully with no zero safety violations or incidents, and provided quality service to customers. Some tasks at hand involved digging and forming pools from blue prints and ensuring all work was up to code, digging and back filling trenches to code, and stripping grass from customers home sites.
