START UP: Merged creative thinking with business practices, which resulted in the development of 3 new venue spaces. Molding a raw space into a place with vision and a “It’s Possible” outlook. Striking the right balance between beauty and grit to execute Milwaukee’s first “warehouse” venue.
SALES: Responsible for venue, bar and rental sales. Selling the creative vision, estimate into contract. Increase revenue with concise thinking, venue adjustments and added services. Resulting in 800+ events and $14M earned.
EVENTS: Concept, build and execute dynamic experiences within a black canvas. Knowing vendor skills, work habits and pricing. Knowledgeable in design trends, custom builds, catering and lighting.
FLOOR PLANS: Through one-on-one meetings custom plans were laid out with detailed event logistics, timeline and outlined cost of the event.
STAFFING: Over-site, management and hiring of full and part time employees.
EXHIBITIONS: Concepted, curated and developed 35 exhibitions. Secured the exhibitions, found funding, created and built while overseeing the marketing materials and PR.
BRANDING: Worked with over 25 advertising and design firms for In-kind materials. Directly responsible for securing over $500,000 in advertising and media donations.
FUNDRAISING & EVENTS: Responsible for fundraising and increased revenue for operations.
- Efforts included: corporate and individual solicitation, grant writing, friend development and membership drives. Resulted in more than $1.2M earned and increased events by more than 500% over 6 years.
