Cori Hopping Park

Currently I am working on the Junior Campus for Dena Clough. I am busy with playground and bathroom duty, I support two Kindergarten classes and work with Patriot Care Kids. I absolutely love the kids and am having a blast!

Here I had a great experience being a substitute teacher for K-8th. I loved the classroom management, the rhythm and relationships with the students and parents each day. I had two long term sub positions, both with second grade. This included report cars and parent teacher conferences for one. I became familiar with Class Dojo and weekly newsletters. There were multiple drills including a hard lockdown (that we did not know was a drill) and then an actual soft lock down. Working with the team of teachers weekly curriculum planning was great support and a great learning experience.

Here I commuted for a part time position overseeing the hiring, the recruiting, training and resourcing of both our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programming for birth thru fifth grades. I taught our Kids Church twice each Sunday morning. I coordinated our annual VBS

As Children's Director for ten years I cast the vision and coordinated the remodel of our Children's Building. I oversaw the hiring, the recruiting, training and resourcing of both our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programming for birth thru fifth grades. I taught our Kids Church twice each Sunday morning. I coordinated our annual VBS, Trunk or Treat, and Easter Egg Hunt.

In Hospitality and Assimilation for almost four years I coordinated all of the weekly Greeters and Ushers, our Wednesday Night dinners, and monthly welcome lunches. I developed and coordinated all special events.

As the Women's Director for almost four years I taught a weekly woman's Bible Study coordinated quarterly events.

For our church of 2,500 I oversaw the training and resourcing of our children's programs both Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings. Sunday mornings I taught Kids Church with an average of 60 kids. I coordinated the hiring and recruiting of volunteers for the Nursery, Preschool and Elementary programs. I directed a Mother's Day musical each year. And coordinated the annual Fall Festival and Easter Egg Hunt.

I had the privilege of serving Fremont Christian Elementary School with an enrollment of 1,500 students as their Chaplin coordinating weekly chapels. I fully staffed and coordinated four day camps a year for over 100 children..

We started a Saturday morning outreach program to an inner city community of the Bay Area. Each Saturday I was responsible for training and preparing our team and overseeing program presented to hundreds of kids.

I also had the unique privilege of serving on multiple oversees missions trips.

For the church of 1,500 people I oversaw the recruiting, training and resourcing of the Sunday morning and Wednesday night kids programs including Nursery, Preschool and Elementary. I taught two classes each Sunday that averaged 50 children each. I produced two musical productions a year with a parent team and an average of 75 kids in each production. I also coordinated our annual Community Fall Festival of 3,000 in attendance.
