  • Responsible for significantly advancing the school's marketing and communications efforts through video production, website management and digital media work.
  • Developed and maintained web content including website navigation, images, text, and multimedia.
  • Created spotlight videos every month, updating text, photos, and graphic content, and compiling the weekly all-school newsletter, monthly athletics newsletter, monthly parent council newsletter, monthly admission newsletter and quarterly art newsletter.
  • Responsible for spearheading the launch of the redesigned athletics newsletter, and working with both the Admission team and the Arts Department to design and create monthly/quarterly newsletters focused on those areas.

  • Established school's first communications department and served as its first communications director; hired at a time when school lacked a clear brand or messaging consistency, there was no cohesive oversight of website, magazine and marketing collateral were outdated, student enrollment and retention were down, and mission statement had just been developed.
  • As the first Director of Communications, developed and implemented a comprehensive strategic communications initiative with the primary goal of providing Perk with a complete and coordinated message and image to all school constituencies (e.g., prospective students, faculty, staff, students, alumni, benefactors, media, community, etc.), resulting in increased admissions, philanthropic gifts and clear overall branding.
  • Oversaw production of all web, video and print materials including research, photography, content and design. Managed the launch of a new school website, revisiting everything from navigation to content and photography in further clarifying Perk's brand.
  • Introduced online portal for the entire community, which provided an internal digital community and classroom for all students, parents and faculty. Directed multiple projects internally and externally including two magazines a year, media creation and website maintenance.
