Accomplishments

  • Achieved results through effectively helping with providing intrinsic motivation for kids who were not excelling. This meant finsing a way for students to be proud of themselves and actually crave knowledge.
  • Created a contingency analysis spreadsheet for students who only have Referrals as data that compares the behavior with the setting and the contingency and automated percentages for where and when the problem behavior would occur.
  • Collaborated with an Occupational Therapist to create a system for a child who did not want to do his heavy work by combining ABA, OT and Socio emotional learning. He was our special school postman who had to deliver important packages and when he was done he earned his tokens (postage stamps) he would get a reward. The behaviors that were interfering with his learning decreased.
  • At University of Delaware earned an Award of Academic Excellence in Philosophy and Sociology.
  • Overcame a learning disability and earned a 3.9 GPA in graduate school.
  • Volunteered with Autism Delaware and Division for Visually Impaired.
  • Adopted a family down the street that I decorate their house for Holidays, give them food and rides to appointments.
