Accomplishments

  • Founded Maggette Basketball Community Initiative (MBCI) in Chicago in 2000. Provided 350 kids in the Chicago area basketball camp for free, offering them a chance to improve their lives and skills, under strong mentoring and coaching discipline.
  • After relocation to Southern California, continued the MBCI in the Newport coast area which is still ongoing.
  • Involved in the Summer Mentorship Drew League, sponsored by the NBA, bringing together high school players, college players, and professional players, providing mentoring and coaching guidance throughout the team practices.

Affiliations

  • Part owner of AsVel Basketball in Lyon France along with founder and former NBA player Tony Parker. I use my skills as a former basketball player as an advisor for the group.
