  • I process the bureaus recruitment and multiple staffing actions, for Civil and Foreign Service positions. This includes Student Interns and Contractors.
  • Performance Management Coordinator for Civil and Foreign Service, and US Personal Service Contractors.
  • Training Coordinator developed the bureau training procedures and guidance. Submitting training requests to HR and the Department of State.
  • I serve as the bureaus Timekeeper, assuring all hiring mechanisms time and attendance are reported accurately and on time.
  • I am the Unit Security Officer; I keep the Bureau abreast of procedures and ensure the Bureau meets the Office of Security’s standards for annual inspections. I also initiate clearance investigations for Contractors and confirm all revalidation requests are accurate. I manage all top level security requests and follow up with the Office of Security, all while keeping the employee abreast of the status of their clearances.
  • As the Records Management and FOIA Officer, I make sure employees are and Bureau files are maintained accurately and kept up to date. As the FOIA Officer, I facilitated and kept track of all incoming requests and made sure offices and overseas Missions were responding by the deadline. Also, making sure accurate data was being collected.
  • Occupant Emergency and Readiness Procedures Coordinator (OEP), overseeing and implementing the Agency’s emergency response procedures, all the while making sure all personnel are prepared and aware of Agency procedures.
  • Space Coordinator, identifying and coordinating vacant office space, while projecting future move requirements. I also oversee all Bureau and Class Net issued equipment that are accounted for in annual inspections and properly maintained.
  • Procurement Officer, serving as the primary purchase cardholder of $25,000. I am responsible for the accuracy of information and data they provide to my Approving Officer. Verifying vendors that supplies are correctly entered into the Agency’s procurement system and meets micro-purchase threshold. Making sure all orders are successful and inventory is managed accurately.
  • Oversee Financial Disclosures, and advise staff on up-to-date guidance.
  • Travel Authorization Officer, I make sure all Travel Authorization have the correct authorization before submitting them to the Travel Office.
  • I manage all Diplomatic Titles and National Security Decision Directives (NSDD-38) Requests before submitting them to the Department of State. I send all the approvals back to oversea Missions to make sure they are there before employees arrive.
  • I assist in setting up the Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment for large conferences and make sure the equipment is working properly.
