Roomed patients and obtained chief complaint, medical history, medications and vital signs. Assisted in all small office procedures. Scheduled surgeries and assisted in call center scheduling appointments as needed. Sterilized instruments and cleaned and stocked the exam rooms.

• Obtain a thorough health history of the patient
• Instill eye drops, check pressure in patient's eyes with a slit lamp, check angles in eyes to make sure they are open to dilate
• Check vision, refract patients vision to try and obtain 20/20
• Perform visual fields, OCT machine testing for glaucoma and macular degeneration

• Performed foot and ankle x-rays, prior authorizations for medications and MRI’s
• Applied casts on patients, such as hard casts for broken bones and una boots, wound dressings
• Assisted in ingrown toenail procedures, wart removal, foreign body removals
• Scribed the office notes for the physician and took all the patient's pertinent information as well as obtaining vital signs

• Called patients back into exam rooms and obtained all information for the doctor as well as took vital signs
• Assisted in small office procedures such as hemorrhoid banding, developing clo test from EGD biopsy, B-12 injections, video capsule, rectal exams, blood draws, and hemoccult card developing
• Obtained medical records for the doctors, prior authorizations for medications, referrals from insurance companies
