Desert Storm Veteran

I am a Survivor of Desert Storm. I was on the USS OGDEN LPD - 5 from 9-15-89-2-19-1992. I was involved in Desert Storm where i served as a operation specialist . I was able to supervise over 5000 hostages at the time of Desert Storm . The hostages were critically injured and some died. I was able to maintain peace between our soldiers and the hostages by using mental health strategies to keep tensions down. I also navigated a team of Marines in the recovery of Top Secret  War plans plotted against our Country and this saved the lives of our service men aboard several War ships at the time of Desert Storm in the Gulf of Oman.
