With 14 years of experience in the Heavy Duty Mechanics Industry i have learned to be better person and Technician every day. I've learned what it takes to be a team player. Work well with others even during a difficult situation. I gained confidence in myself and patience with others no matter the job or task requested. I have enough knowledge to where i can tell if something is not running or operating properly. I can drive just about anything and can catch on to operating anything pretty quick. I can Weld/ fabricate enough to make something hold up and last. I can pay attention to detail well and get jobs and task done with a good work ethic. My experience has helped me open up new Opportunities beyond just being a Technician. I've Mastered and Skilled other trades without degrees in this Industry. During the 2 year Heavy Duty Trucks Program Iv learned a verity of different areas in the Heavy Duty Truck Program.
Program teaches you to properly diagnose/ Trouble shoot all different types of repairs. Both Classroom and Hands on training with Engines/ Transmissions/ Driveline/ Electrical/ Brakes/ Axles/ Suspension/Tires.
Technical Parts of the trade which included learning how to use INSITE for Cummins Engines and learn about the Aftertreatment/ Emissions of the exhaust systems.
Also did one course of Welding and fabricating during the 2 year program.
During the program we all had to get our MN State DOT Certification as apart of passing the 2nd year class.
