Affiliations

  • As our children were growing up my wife and I were highly involved in our high school hockey, youth hockey, cub scouts and boy scouts programs. During out 15 years of involvement we were board members for our groups. I was president of the youth hockey club for 10 of those years.

Accomplishments

Started at Kobe September 3rd 1998 I have been in management for 20 years. Below is a time line of my career.

Worked on second shift assembling geometric and all radius products that we offered until 2005 when I received my first promotion.

8/1/2005 = Foreperson of the Radius and Geometric sub- assembly and final assembly department 2nd shift

4 months later I was then moved to 1st shift to be Foreperson in the Swing Door area over seeing frame/sill sub-assembly and final assembly,

2 years later I was then move back to the Radius and Geometric area as the Foreperson again.

8/25/2008 = Promoted to Casement and Double Hung assembly Manager, In this time frame I had also overseen other final assembly areas that were moved in and out of my leadership before becoming a Director. These areas included Multi-Slide Doors, Sliding Patio Doors, Folding Doors, Lift and Slide Doors, Wood Grille Assembly

In short I have overseen all final assembly areas at one time or another here at Kobe

3/4/2019 = Promoted to Director of Field Service, in June of 2022 I took on oversight of our Quality Assurance Department

2005 Kobe started Continuous Improvement Initiatives, I have participated in 47 continuous improvement activities.
