Wind Blade Repair Technician
•Read to NCR sheet for required repairs on blade
•Refer to BRM for matching repair process
•Follow repair instruction process and note tolerances/measurements
•Find BOD and Map Out according to number of Damaged layers
•Scarf out layers for new glass
•Take measurements and cut glass/dry fit
•Cut consumables to bag repair under vacuum and weigh chemicals
•Lay up wet Lamination and put under vacuum
•Apply heat to instructed temp and time to cure chemicals
•Take barcol readings to ensure repair is correctly cured
•Document each step in repair process
•Upload photos to build Storyboard (repair report)
•Drop photo in corresponding step of process and write description
•Ensure all steps are covered and report is complete before uploading storyboard
•Once repair is approved, sign off NCR to close Blade and send to finish
